Swimming with Whale Sharks at Ningaloo

And we are again on the way to West Australia this time for a domestic tour. Over a couple of days, four of us were heading through the South to Perth before heading north to Exmouth. It was lucky to have been a warm day, with a fairly quiet seas, which significantly enhances the likelihood of seeing the sharks, that we booked long ahead of time for our cruise to Ningaloo. It is not difficult to analyze that why whale sharks are most sought after by scuba divers, since they are the giant fish in the sea and you are likely to be scared by this species when you see them for the first time. Their length can be reached till 20 meters and weighs normally 20 tons. Such beautiful and graceful animals are able to mesmerize all those who come across them underwater and it is amazing that they are not danger prone to humans as they will never attack you because of they only consume plankton. Like other giant animals in the water, the whale shark also faces extraordinary pressure by habitat. Moreover, whale sharks have been announced as endangered species in the list of IUCN. You can raise awareness about these majestic creatures by snorkeling or scuba-diving with them. Whale Sharks follow an inquisitive strategy to eat and that is by opening their giant mouth and swallowing the water and filtering it by retaining small organisms like plankton.  ...
